LIFE : Live Free!
Life Isn’t Free Everywhere. The
sooner one understands this fact is where the life actually begins. Every
living being has its own perception of what life is and what it takes to live
it the way it is meant to be. However, life is a mystery that unfolds only
after a crucial period is spent exploring all other fragments, which may or may
definitely not have any relevance to life post self-enlightenment.
Buddha indeed was enlightened and the energy thus attained
has been so positive and inspiring to last for centuries and yet retains its
glory in full. However, the meaning is viewed differently by all across the
world. This is what life is all about. It is different for each individual.
Yet, we all force ourselves to get trained into living a pre-defined existence.
A person may not get lured by the charming glitter of the
outside world and may want to continue his/her connect with the inside. It is
this stubborn desire which keeps the uniqueness upright. But, most of us fell
into the trap and lose our existence to wear an unknown personality for the
life ahead. It is only during our last breath or the last phase of life, when
the person actually realizes what was left behind.
I was recently watching an online video series, MadeInHeaven
on prime video. Yes, I am a fusion of modern traditional girl and I do watch Indian
shows. In fact, I quiet enjoyed few such series recently released on the newest
trending platform – online. Expression is beyond language, right? And status is irrespective of your choice of language too. By the way, I was wondering who actually defines status quo?
This show revolved around some people struggling in their
lives in order to find their identities. The identities they slipped off, a
while ago in their past somewhere, during their pursuit of excellence. It made
my thoughts stronger as a rebel to defy this constant probing society to turn
every individual into a particular kind. Why do we need to fit in? Why can’t we
celebrate our uniqueness? Imagine if all of us had same fingerprints. I wonder
how Aadhar biometrics would work. Or, if all girls had same face and body. How
would you put your hand around the waist of your wife, feeling proud of being
with the most beautiful lady that evening?
It is our differences which make us comparable, but we end
up being judgemental. If someone looks different, why it has to be superior or
inferior to me and not just be themselves. Why it has to be a FAIR game always.
Dark is equally interesting too. We did like the joker in The Dark Knight as
much we liked Evelin and Regan in A Quiet Place.
I must not be quoted a social traitor if I define my own
terms to live my life. But yes, freedom does not really mean creating
unnecessary ripples to cause damaging effects to other lives. If I am fighting
to be the next Prime Minister, I surely don’t need to be forced to act brutal
about war. I could choose my own decisions with best of my own capabilities and
prove to be a good leader, or otherwise as well. It has to be my decision as a
political leader to talk or not about my agenda and equally my intelligence and
right to choose the best fit, while casting my voter as a citizen.
The only thing that has to be focused upon is INDIVIDUALITY.
We should learn to be more responsible individuals rather herds of sheep. We
must know clearly on what we prefer, like, want, desire and to grow competent
enough to carve out the way that takes us there.
Everyone has their own set of heart beat; we can’t proxy
breathe for our loved ones right. So, why do we try and fit into lives of
others. Every heart has its own rhythm. A Tabla may not rhyme well with notes
of a Piano; but we all know how phenomenal these individuals have been for
ages, keeping their own identities intact, in the world of music.
Life is indeed not free everywhere, but, we must stay
stubborn enough to come out as conquerors of our own souls with a joyous
victory over the stereotyped beats of life. In the end, it will only be ME who
would have LIVED or DIED. So, breathe free!
Very well expressed 👍
