Limiting the rise to fall.

Thanks for all who have been following my thoughts and sharing their comments with me. It certainly motivates to pour in more onto the blog space. And thus, considering your suggestions, I am taking ahead the same piece of thought further. The intent now is to deep dive into the causes and possible solutions to eradicate “The Rising Fall”. Let’s first understand what the fall is. Fall is the deterioration of our overall levels of happiness and satisfaction that is supposed to soothe every soul – in their own individual ways. Individual – is a keyword here. How often do we value the relevance and importance of this INDIVIDUAL nowadays? Absolutely zero. This is our first step to take forward in order to curb the growing fall. We need to understand that each individual is unique in their own ways. If not, why did the super power take the efforts of creating us with unique face, unique voice, unique talents, capabilities. He did not mean to frame us into a sing...

The rising fall !!

How often have you felt dissatisfied with anything or everything – in a day? How often do you end up smiling all through the day while missing out your single instance of actual happiness within? How well do you know what the real happiness is? Or for that matter, what is the right happiness? At first – need to be happy. Then, are we happy and then, Is this actually the right happy? What is the best way to be happy? Sounds philosophical right? Before you click that red box and move to another window in your browser, I need to mention that I am talking about the most important and most ignored part of each one of us – Ourself! In the hassle of daily life routines and the high standards of achievements to meet, we seldom realize that we still are the machines made of flesh n bones who bleed breathe and die off – AND more importantly, unlike the trees, we do not have the privilege to bring back life in next spring. Let’s keep the topic of reincarnation separate. ...

The Changing ‘Basics’

Roti kapda aur makaan (food, clothing, and house) were considered to be the most fundamental basics just a couple of decades back. These 3 items sustained to top the list of basic necessities for remarkably long period of time unless we approached the 21 st century.   With the evolution of computers, mobile phones, internet, the world got introduced to a completely new journey of life which changed constantly almost daily. A 21 st century enterprise opened up a gamut of spectra full of millions and zillions of experiences and choices. And this brought the change to touch the most constant commodity – the basics.   Today, food, clothing and home still remain the basics but the list does not end on these three. The basics now include various other commodities such as internet access, smart phone, and digital television. This looks very appealing to all of us and undoubtedly, we all are getting used to this change BUT few questions surely wander through the neuro...

Diwali dilwali Dilemma!

Image
As the Diwali is nearing, all Indians across globe go festive. Indulgence in home cleaning, shopping, home décor, sweets, family, friends, gifts, cheers, smiles, lights, crackers, rangoli, socializing, Diwali parties, ethnic dressing, lavish dinners, and the list just keeps going. But, hold on! Slight Reverse please! Let’s get to a point in time when we start planning on Diwali. How do we celebrate comes much later. Where and with who comes right after we check the Diwali date in calendar. I will be talking here specifically on the people who have multiple homes in different locations. A couple (with or without kid) who is working in a metropolitan city staying in a multi-story facility which they call it ‘Home’ where they generally live. This category mostly has at least two more options called ‘Home’ – their respective childhood houses where their respective parents are still living. Diwali is related with the Goddess Laxmi and the daughter-in-law is ‘termed’ as the...

Women Empowerment - My Thoughts!

Image
Women empowerment to me comprises of all activities which lead to women getting entitled to better share of authority on their lives and decisions. But then, why do we need to empower women? If the need persists, it directly implies that women are weaker breed of society and hence they need approval from the stronger gender. This raises eyebrows of a huge section of women, including me, who do not consider themselves to be in need of any such approval. ‘I am able enough to decide for my life’; ’I do not need help to fight my odds’; ‘Who are you to allow me permissions on my own right to live?’; ‘Women empowerment – grow up dude’ These are some of the thoughts which shout out from my nerves on hearing of women empowerment. This is because I am blessed to have a father who sent me to the same school as my brother; my mother served same food to me as my brother; I got the education basis my own choices; I married a guy who respects my space and does not...

Story of A Girl

Image
I am here again ... with a new page on the blogger. This time, with a true story of a girl who experimented with her life .. just to live it... Read it in her own words... As she begins ...... Here...arrives Me - a new member in family ... the first child to my parents, Me. A healthy, lovely, baby girl marked over weight to bring happiness to the newly father and mother. The sparkle in her eyes brings joy to the father and he considers her as his lucky charm. The love and care makes leads her to be a pampered yet obedient Papa's Girl - Komal, as the world knows her. She brought with her a rebel, who would not spare even her best loved, if it goes a wrong way. A true follower of justice and god fearing adolescent girl. Gradually, the family further grew up adding to her company a younger brother and a cute, intelligent little sister. She adored her brother from the start but took some time to accept her sister as a member in the family, though she was happy to see and touch the ...
